well in case you wondered why have i been spending so little time on here lately here's the reason
its that time of the year when we have exams on our collage.
in this month i passed 4 exams, 2 of which were extremly difficult i passed in the last weeks time (last tuesday 1st and today 2nd)
now i have nothing to do since for me this exam term is over
quite strange
i think i have never studied more than i have in the last 2 weeks
every bloody day from dawn till dusk :|
oh well it payed off

Wasn't sure what thread to put this in, this one will do :err:
I don't know if anyone noticed but the last few months I lost the will to spam (I mean post!) ....Our problems started a few years ago and have gradually got worse, Luke has never enjoyed going to school, we always had a lot of days where he'd have a headache, tummy ache, anything ache come to think of it... Year 6 was tough for him at primary school as most of his good friends had moved up to High school.
Year 7 was tough but I thought it was him just settling into High school and that he'd be ok in the end. Since september life has been so tough, He would cry so much that he'd be sick :( If I got him to school he'd end up with the nurse and I'd have to go and get him :( I'd got to the stage where I couldn't sleep, just dreading the next day. The last half term as been the worst, rarely getting him there and he'd be in the support centre, not in lessons.
We are supposed to be starting meetings with welfare people and dr's in the next few weeks :| Outside school he's a happy normal boy, but in it he is a wreck...i'm not having my son stuck on tablets :x

Now the happy bit :D

Last week while searching online for anything that could help I discovered that school is not compulsory  I hadn't got a clue that that was the case  Education is, but school isn't! The fines and court that we see people going through on the news could all have been stopped by the parents de registering their kids!
Luke will not be going back to school after half term, he is over the moon about it and he asked me to tell you all what's been going on :)

I might be quiet for a few weeks while I read up on the best way to teach him ....i've found and joined some great support groups online, even found someone in my town who home educates  :D

Sorry for the essay  Here's to the end of stress and to a happy house
