Got the Xmas Decs up tonite......ITS CHRISTMAS :banana: :banana: :banana:

Never started the shopping today though :(
Last week had a bad back all weekend so couldn't start :|
Spent the morning up casualty with little_rockin today....

He hurt his foot in PE at school yesterday....
Still hurt a lot this morning, but luckily after an xray nothing broken :)

So Maybe brave the shops tomoro.....
Nanny is takin little_rockin and his cousin to Longleat to meet Santa...
Lets hope there isn't too much walking for him :err:

So we get a day of hastle free shopping......
Just need every one else to stay at home so the shops aint busy :D

.......so 3 weeks on and the Xmas decs are all packed up and all back in their boxes, just finished packing them all away....

Back to work tomoro :(

49 weeks and I will be putting them all back up again :banana: :banana: :banana:

Normally take them down just before I go back to work after Xmas...

But 1 Week after the new year Frenchy :shock: :shock: :shock:


Twelfth Night (5th January) is when all Christmas Decorations should be removed so as not to bring bad luck upon the home. If decorations are not removed by the Twelfth Night, they should stay up all year.

What a week :shock: They finally started fitting our central heating on Monday :banana: came back tues, then we have shitloads of snow :| So they couldn't get here yesterday, dunno if they are coming today, doubt it though :( Nothing worse than having rads on the walls that don't work in this weather!! so near but sooooo far!! lol

Jake's school is shut but Devon county council have stopped all school transport until further notice, so looks like its going to be a while before he goes back.

Grave Digger snapped his chassis during the semi-final of racing so EL Toro Loco got his spot in the final while he was being welded up....

Grave digger lost his wheel during his freestlye so El Toro Loco won the freestlye as well...

Otherwise it seems it may have been "fixed" for Grave Digger to win LOL

If I can be arsed I will upload some pics to photobucket when I get time :D

Last time we went to Monster Jam :banana: :banana: :banana:

Last week I took little_rockin again....
He really wanted to go so I had to take him :D

I wont do so much writing this time about it....
This time it was at Derby's football ground - Pride Park....
(probably the best action EVER seen on that pitch!!)
So no artificial light so the pics came out better...

At the pit party little_rockin didnt quite get the hand gesture right....
It was so funny when he sat next to the driver of his favourite truck - Mohawk Warrior...
He looked round and said - "Hi George" just like they were best of mates LOL

It was our second day in French Lick, Indiana, and it was the best day!
Indiana is mostly farmland and outdoor stuff. You may recall that Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin are from there :cool:

After a breakfast of fluffy pancakes, we drove out to Marengo Cave. It was discovered in 1883 by two kids who went to explore a sinkhole. The entire area is covered in forest and they had a stream where you could pan for gold and minerals.

It was my first time exploring a cave and it was really cool! There were lots of beautiful rock formations and subterranean lakes. Sometimes we had to squeeze past stalactites and step over stalagmites and the infamous Pluto Water dripped on us.
I hit my head on one of the low cave ceilings but I'm fine :p

In one area of the cave the ceiling was 15-20 feet high and it had patches of mud. People would throw coins at the ceiling to try to get them to stick. Besides many pennies, there were also 5 credit cards, a student ID card, and a comb stuck to the ceiling.

The lakes made perfect mirror images and you had to look really closely to tell it was water.

The Crystal Palace section, were there were a ton of stalactites.

We were at the cave for a couple of hours and then we went bowling. The bowling alley was near a place called Pluto's Pizza.

I'm terrible at bowling so we will not speak about my score. err.gif However, I am fantastic at arcade claw machines! This arcade was located right next to the bowling alley and it had a claw machine full of rubber ducks. I liked the colonial duck that was wearing a tri-corner hat and I got it on the first try. :cool:

But....
That claw machine must have been faulty.....

The ones over here are uselessssss….
The claw is SO FEEBLE it wont pick up a thing....

Like trying to carry a bowling ball in a wet paper bag :confused:

There weren't any repercussions from the pluto water dripping on you were there o_O
 
Just saw those pics from 7.5 years ago at Monster Jam....
little_rockin looks so small o_O

I had an email about Monster Jam coming back this year....
Don't think he will want to go this time :confused:

Years ago my siblings and I figured out the secret of the claw machines and we emptied a lot of them. cool.gif

I never tried going after heavy stuff so I don't know how strong they are, but I think they make the claws here as slippery as possible :oops:

Lol, everything was okay. I did not get the shits from any part of my body :cool:
