Wednesday, 16 February. Valencia wins the Copa del Rey for the 7th time after defeating Getafe 3-1 in the Final in Madrid. Juan Mata scored the opening goal for Valencia in the 4th minute then followed by Alexis Ruano's goal in the 11th minute. Esteban Granero later scored a penalty for Getafe in the 45th minute and finally former Spain striker Fernando Morientes scored Valencia's third and winning goal in the 83rd minute.

Saturday, 19 April. Bayern Munich won a record of 14 German Cups after defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the Final in Berlin. Italy striker Luca Toni scored Bayern's first goal in the 11th minute while Mladen Petrić netted Dortmund's last-minute equalizer in the 92nd minute. Toni again scored Bayern's second goal in the 103rd minute during extra-time after both teams were tied 1-1. This is Oliver Kahn's last German Cup with Bayern Munich after winning 5 cups with that club as his career draws to a close.

Saturday, 29 March. Paris Saint-Germain wins the League Cup for the 3rd time after beating Lens 2-1 in the Final in Paris.
Although this event occurred a month ago, I am 'sorry' for posting this late because I just knew this one.
To Frenchy, I did watch Franck Ribéry run with the German Cup from the podium then rejoins his Bayern Munich teammates there.

Sunday, 11 May. English champions Manchester United successfully defended its title for the 17th time after a 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic. Cristiano Ronaldo first scored a penalty in the 33rd minute then followed by Welsh star Ryan Giggs, who scored the Red Devils' winning goal in the 81st minute. Good job!

rocky is surely happy coz when the Zenith St Petersburg's captain receiver the cup, they played the Foos 'best of you' in the stadium :D 8)

Thursday, 15 May. Zenit St. Petersburg wins this year's U.E.F.A. Cup for the first time after beating Scotland's Glasgow Rangers 2-0 in the Final in Manchester, England. Igor Dyenisov scored Zenit's first goal in the 72nd minute and Konstantin Zyryanov sealed victory after netting the Russian side's second goal in the 94th minute.
Note: Zenit is also the current Russian champions and this year's Russian Super Cup holders while its Dutch coach Dick Advocaat used to coach Rangers.
