My Play order says still processing. Apparently you can't cancel the order once its go to that point :roll:

Not sure whether i should e-mail them or not. I don't want the DVD if its a Bag O' Shite :|

Right after extensive messing around with this crappy DVD :|

Lord Of The Flies seems the worst offender on my various players.
So this track shall be the subject matter.
None have Dolby 5:1 sound but that disc played fine and the sound &
picture didn't falter apart from not sounding very good but that was to be
expected.

Now for the Stereo Disc :|

Here goes..

Philips DVDR70.... Sound ok but bad pixilating at various points through track.

Durabrand DVD-420.... Picture and sound stops and stutters. Totally unwatchable.

Starlogic DVD868V50 (Multi Region).... Plays Fine

PC Samsung DVD ROM SD616T
Win Med Player 10..... Freezes,stops & stutters
Power DVD.... Sound Stutters but not too much.

PS2.....Works Fine

All in all totally unacceptable... but at least it plays on something so I am
able to watch if I feel the need. Strange it was the multi region player...
that only cost £25

I am very dissapointed though :|

Maybe I should invest in 5:1 Dolby Digital equipment :err:

Can't be bothered to write all mine down :oops: It is bearable on my cheapest player too....not perfect but I did watch all off it. Have you watch the special features disc yet? loved the studio bits :D

I did the messing with the concert one this morning....then spent all afternoon watching the other disc :oops:

Tomorrow i'd better do some housework :err:

Added PS2 now... How could I forget that one :shock:
Which means I can watch it in 32" Glory :banana: :banana: :banana:
It will be getting replaced though :|
 
Its such a shame that the DVD is having problems. I don't think its the bands fault. I think it has to come down to Sanctuary not ensuring quality control was followed by the company producing the DVD's.

In my honest opinion, it has been a particularly bitter pill for fans to swallow, after having waited soooooo long for the DVD in the first place. After making us wait for soooo long. The very least Sanctuary could have done was to ensure the quality of the DVD. That may have meant delaying the DVD for another 2 weeks. But, had the reasons for the delay been explained. I'm sure most fans would have said "Oh well, i suppose its for the best......."

I can imagine Steve is furious about the whole thing :|
 
I wonder if Play.com have withdrawn theirs from sale???
If so I shall return it at the weekend and wait until they send me a new one :?
