about Maiden in general chat

frenchy pre ordered the limited edition of the new album, the vynil version and the mug 8) 8) 8) 8)

I have listened to it through about five times....... I heard El Dorado after Rocky sent it to my phone, before the release, and thought my god this is different...but now I think its Maiden all over it and brilliant...and what this album lacks alot of...is the fast paced base thumping tempo that we all love to go mad to at concerts ala Trooper, Aces High etc....not that it has to be ten songs of that pace.... I love Isles of Avalon, totally my favourite...the riff at the start and tempo chsnge halfway thru is excellent, Mother Of Mercy is another great anti war track from a soldiers view....still a grower the rest...Wild Wind..starts and I expect Alexander the Great to start LOL...now that is a masterpiece...but mostly its Adrian Smiths album with the writing credits and with the album style.....right I'll shut up now....Cmon it has been a while since ive been on here LOL LOL
