Lets hope next season all the drama is on the freakin track :|

OMG

Lewis Hamilton could still become the 2007 Formula 1 Drivers' title after it
was revealed that BMW are reportedly being investigated for fuel
irregularities at the end of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Although no word has been given by the governing body, BBC News
claimed in their 10 'o' Clock bulletin that the FIA are investigating both
BMWs, which finished fifth and sixth, for irregularities with their fuel.

Should both drivers be penalised in any way, plus Nico Rosberg who is
also thought to be under investigation, Hamilton would be classified in
fourth place and would therefore be crowned the champion.

However, until an official word is made, Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari
remain this year's champion.

The problem is believed to be in the tempature of the fuel samples taken
from the cars of Williams's Nico Rosberg and BMW Sauber's Robert
Kubica and Nick Heidfeld.

The trio finished the race in fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

:err: Blimey I thought the rules were in depth........

But how the fuk can they control the fuel temperature when its as hot as
it was in Brazil today

:?

Article 6.5.5 of the Formula 1 technical regulations stipulates that “no fuel on board the car may be more than 10 degrees centigrade below ambient temperature”.

FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer confirmed in a statement that the Williams and BMW fuel temperatures had deviated by more than that amount in the course of the race.

Cooler fuel is more dense. Denser fuel gives slightly bigger bang, and it can mean it takes slightly less time to refuel the car or marginally more can be added in the same time.

So ur saying they had the fuel kept in the fridge :err:

Either way..... they set a precident when they punished the teams for the
tyre fiasco (Friday practice using 2 sets of wets instead of the permitted one)
And even before this, during the spygate scandal, again the team was punished.
So the very most they should do is punish the teams for having cold fuel.

I really get the feeling Alonso wants to drive elsewhere next season :err:

Alonso says the team has only itself to blame for losing the championship
and reiterated his belief that his own bid didn’t receive enough support.

“It doesn't seem like the season has been managed very well," he said.

"The result speaks for itself.

“McLaren lost the championship probably because of some of the decisions
they took, especially in the second half of the season.

“It's no secret that they haven't helped me a lot,” he added.

I i was Ron Dennis i would do everything i could to help Alonso win the title next year. Not to the extent it hindered Hamilton, but i would give him everything i'd got.

Alonso would think he'd won me over, but it wouldn't matter. All that would matter is Alonso won the championship.......and that he won it in a McLaren and i would know he owed that win to me
