The all new what are you doing now thread

I have a jury summons tomorrow and I'm looking up what to wear. Like, I think it's going to be jeans and a sweater and that's honestly nicer than what I wear to work
 
I had no idea what to expect since that's the first time I've had to go in for a jury summons. I wore jeans and chucks and a number of other people were wearing jeans as well.

They showed us an intro video that was actually funny and acknowledged that most people don't want to do this. They called a few groups and the rest of us sat around until lunchtime. Then we got dismissed. I got $35 for it. Not bad for sitting for 3 hours. :)

Getting up early and dealing with a packed train was the worst part.
 
I think it could be interesting to be in a jury but the timing is extremely bad. I still have a bunch of things to do with deadlines coming up fast. I'm trying not to miss any work days because the economy is complete shit thanks to that stupid fucking idiot.
 
Making tacos. Found out I could substitute smoked paprika and cayenne for chili powder.

I still haven't gotten up early enough to go to the spice store err.gif
