Yup.. But it's really only for Seventhson and... the one who's nick I don't remember. But I just can't stand the quality of the coversations here. But "peelo" is just more like an asshole. :D

And this means I will spend my time on the finnish discussion most of the time.

I can appreciate people getting annoyed with the smiley thing. It can be frustrating sometimes when there's a thread with a continuation of smiley's rolling all the way through it. I also understand that its the context in which they're sometimes used or mis-used which can make it frustrating :x ( does that make a point ? )

That being said, the smiley's are an integral part of the board. Some people use them, others don't. Some people use them a lot, and others use them rarely. Surely what we're all after is a board which we can come to and enjoy, with all its influences. Granted, sometimes we are going to come across someone or something on the board that we don't like, or are offended by, something which has us crying with laughter or something which may change a long held belief or opinion.

That, in my onion is the real issue here. I really hope i'm not sounding like i'm giving a lecture to anyone, that's not my intention. There are many subtle levels of communication displayed on this board (that sentence being one of them :err: ................... :D , those two smiley's being another ....................or are they :? ) And we are all going to decipher these levels of communication differently. I, for example, get annoyed when someone starts a thread on "Paul, Bruce or Blaze ?...who do you think is the best vocalist?". The answers to these threads are readily available, if you can be bothered to look, and i for one, don't give a shit about who anyone else thinks is the best vocalist, i know which ones mine :x

I would however defend anyones right to post a thread or pole like this, good luck to them. I just don't look at it or take any interest in it. But i'll be buggered if i'm going to tell them to "Stop posting these idiot poles, you n00b", what gives me the right to behave in that manner??? What makes me so much better than them???

Nothing, that's what. So i shall continue to enjoy this board and its many contributers. Some of whom i like, some of whom i don't, and some who i will probably never have the pleasue of getting to know, talk to, have fun with, disagree with etc, etc. I shall just accept that people are different, and that its those differences which make things interesting.
