I wonder if that fruit seller is still one street over? Seems like the best solution. I really don't feel like walking all the way to the grocery stores

The fruit seller had way more veggies than fruit today but just steps away from them was a little cafe that featured smoothies.

The smoothie is pretty good though it has 2 ingredients that I rarely or never have. They're throwing the taste off a little

It has agave and I think almond butter?

Like, super vegan ingredients that I basically never eat

They're building a new building next door and one of the construction dudes looks like Mr. Clean. He's really big and he has a perfectly white t-shirt even though he's been working all day

Torrential rain as I'm walking to the train It stopped and now I'll have wet shoes and socks for the rest of the day.

My sneakers will dry quickly because they're canvas but it sucks having cold, wet feet all day

Today I did not get rained on as I was going to work

Looking up how to care for specific plants and it turns out Calathea hate EVERYTHING

No wonder it looks bad

I moved it into an area with soft lighting and started giving it filtered water. It has perked up and there are 2 new leaves

Now if only I could figure out what those yellow and brown spots mean

The calathea continues to look better after I removed a couple of shitty leaves. There are more but I don't want to take too many leaves at once
