FC Barcelona have agreed carry the UNICEF logo on their
kits next season. This will be the club's first ever shirt sponsor.

The club are keen to promote themselves as a humanitarian club. FC
Barcelona were the first football club to formally support the UN Millennium
Development Goals campaign, with aims ranging from halving extreme
poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary
education by 2015.

That agreement will see the club donate 0.7 per cent of their annual
income (€2million) to the fund from the start of the 2006-07 season.

:err: How come I am a bit late seeing this... it is old news I know

Will seem a bit strange seeing something on the front of their shirts dont
you think :?
:| they could have just as easily placed the thing on a sleeve or someplace like that and still donate money and keep the front of the shirt intact :|

a new era for hajduk begins today...

post kranjcar era. we have 5 wins in 5 matches so far and now we play away to slaven belupo, a venue where we didn't win since 1997
awful tradition for a club like hajduk but traditions are meant to be broken

enough of crying for kranjcar time to move on

AVE FORZA HAJDUCE :fist:

a win in koprivnica after 9 years
6 matches played - 6 wins and 4 of those were away wins

Not a good day for Football over here..... :( :( :(

Jimmy Bullard, Fulham - dislocated knee (possibly not as bad as first thought).

Ross McCabe, Hamilton - suspected heart failure (resuscitated on the pitch)

Matthew Gadsby, Hinkley United - collapsed and died.

nothing special
it wasn't even beautiful

only thing worth noticing about that goal is the range it was scored from

it had to happen sooner or later

hajduk lost 1-0
in injury time of the 2nd half a goal scored by a player who came out of hajduk's youth ranks but coaches didn't find him a place in the team...wow there's something that never happened to us before

still on sunday the biggest game of the croatian season
on poljud(probably filled to the top)

HAJDUK SPLIT versus DINAMO ZAGREB

nothing other than a win is acceptable
lets show those rich ass bastards who's the biggest club in croatia

a very bad match. it looked more like a game of rugby than of football. absolutley nothing worth seeing on the field. crap refereeing 3 penalties given none of them existed. one red card shown should have been at least 3 more.
the final result 2-2. with a player less we've managed to pull off a draw. the players gave their best they fought hard but it didn't look pretty. there's no class in the team anymore since we sold kranjcar. nobody that will pull off some nice move to decide the match. we need to work on that.

anyways i am dissapointed. i expected us to play better. i expected us to win. still hats off to the players, they fought hard. when our players was sent off and dinamo scored afterwards they didn't sink, lose faith, stop fighting and ended up drawing the match. respect for that
