I have some good news -
West Ham United gains promotion to the Premier League after beating Blackpool 2-1 in the Final of the 2012 Npower Championship Playoff at Wembley yesterday.
Welcome back Hammers!

Last Saturday's result:

Liverpool - 3

Bayer Leverkusen - 1

Impressive home win for the Carling Cup holders over Leverkusen, now managed by former Red Sami Hyypiä

Something I forgot several days ago:
Sunday, 12 May. Manchester United has been crowned Premier League champions for the 20th time after a 2-1 victory at home over Swansea City before drawing 5-5 to West Bromwich Albion the next Sunday. A fitting end to manager Sir Alex Ferguson's 27-year career as he leaves the Red Devils following that nail-biting away draw with the Baggies.

The Plumber That Rocks
Liverpool have won only 3 of their 13 matches under Jurgen Klopp that have kicked off at 12.30pm

Next two games: both 12.30pm kick offs
