Considering I'm now listening to the 9 song 'Leak' that came out yesterday and was then shut down almost(!) immediately,
is this real, or a little bit of Photoshop work?

August 5th? It's a Tuesday, and Albums often do come out on a Tuesday in the US as oppose to a Monday in the UK.

I bet Dr. Pepper are wondering if they are gonna have to give out
300 million cans after all LOL

The BLAZE BAYLEY band has issued the following update:

"Our manager is in critical condition in hospital following a Dual Brain Heamorrage last week and has not regained consciousness.

As some of you may already know, Debbie is Blaze's wife, so understandably, Blaze will be staying at bedside for the time being and we as a band are not prepared to put ourselves too far from her under these circumstances.

Due to this serious situation, Blaze cannot appear at the Easy Rider Bike Fest this Coming weekend and the Brazil Tour must be postponed until early next year.

For the time being please contact serpentheartedman@gmail.com for any business related enquiries.

any messages of support can be sent to messagesofsupport@gmail.com - they will be forwarded directly to Debbie and Blaze."

Get well soon

Message from Blaze

"On Sunday 6th of july at 5.15 pm my wife and manager Debbie collapsed at our home in Tamworth. She was rushed to hospital and scanned, it was discovered she had suffered a brain heamorrhage. She has had three neuro surgeries, each one has been a success.

Debbie is now in a coma that could last days, weeks or even months. She is breathing on her own and she is stable, but she is still in critical condition. I visit her every day that I am not out with the band, and talk to her about what is going on with the band and how well the new album is doing. Her family and close friends are also at her bed side every day.

Thank you to every one who has sent messages of support to Debbie and to me. A lot of them I have read out to Debbie in hospital. As each day passes she has more chance of making some kind of recovery, but it will be a very long process. It is not like on TV where people just suddenly wake up. They may wake up for 60 seconds then fall unconscious again for hours or days and eventualy they can stay awake for a little longer each time. The whole process can take days, weeks, months, or even years, brain injuries and recovery are very unpredictable so there are no guarentees or certanties in any of this.

She has worked so hard to get the band going and to make the new album possible, that I feel it is important to continue with what she has started for us.

So I am not cancelling any shows that she has arranged for the band, because I know that is not what Debbie would want. We will continue to book shows and run things the way she started. There have been a few hiccups with the online store but please email us if you have any problems and we will try to sort them out.

Thank you all again for all the love and support you have given my wife and me over these very difficult days. I hope you enjoy the new album and we'll see you at one of our shows soon. cheers,

BB"

The following report is courtesy of Hartlepoolmail.co.uk:

A drummer who was part of the heavy metal scene in the '70s and '80s has died after a fall in a London street.
Hartlepool man Graeme Crallan, a drummer for town band WHITE SPIRIT, was 50.

The musician, nicknamed Crash, collapsed on Sunday and suffered head injuries.

He was later pronounced dead at the Royal Free Hospital, in Camden. An inquest has now opened into his death, which police are not treating as suspicious.

White Spirit was formed by Graeme in 1975 with guitarist Janick Gers, who went on to greater fame with GILLAN, fronted by Ian Gillan, and the world-famous IRON MAIDEN.

The drummer was well known in his home town and toured nationally with White Spirit who were signed to the MCA record label and released one self-titled album in 1980.

Singer Bruce Ruff, keyboard player Malcolm Pearson, and bassist Phil Brady completed the group who had singles including 'Backs To The Grind' and 'Midnight Chaser'.

After the group split up in 1981 Graeme went on to be part of London-based punk and metal band TANK until 1985.

Since then he has played in various other bands.

Graeme went to the Technical High School and High Tunstall School before his music career took him to the capital.

Peter French, 50, a sub-editor at the Hartlepool Mail, who first met Graeme when he was 11, said: "He will be sorely missed because he was quite a character. I haven't spoken to him for a while but he's very popular and it's a great shock."

An inquest has opened into the death at St Pancras coroners' office and is expected to resume in a few months time. A spokeswoman for the coroner said: "Mr Crallan had head injuries and it is believed he had fallen in the street. "

Graeme's funeral will take place in London at Golders Green Crematorium tomorrow at 10.30am.

There's a request for family flowers only. Donations in lieu can be made to the NSPCC.

A celebration of Graeme's life will be held in Hartlepool at a date to be announced.
