1. Punk/hardcore: sick of it all, bad religion, youth of today, cromags, etc

2. Alternative: faith no more, soundgarden, beastie boys

3. Pop/rock: bon jovi, queen, billy idol, phil collins, duran duran, dire straits, the police, U2

4. Sympho: rush

5. UK dance

6. Eighties
 
Well I have the radio on all day at work so does that count as listening to
it, or just having the radio to try to stop me goin crayzeeeeeeee LOL
 
Can't go wrong with a bit of Queen. :D
I used to listen quite a bit of punk, and still do (although not so much)
I also like a fair bit of 80s rock & pop, along with a lot of classic rock.

But about 98% of everything I listen to could be classed as 'Rock' in one form or another. As for other genres, I hate to admit it, but I used to listen to rave music and shit like that in the 90s (I'm over it now)
I'll give most things a listen, and if I like it, then I'll keep on listening. :D
 
Lots of genres for me :banana:
Besides Metal (and it's many sub-genres) I love Classic Rock, Jazz, Blues, Cumbias, Rancheras, Roc en Espanol, Trance, Dance (and it's sub-genres), some Hip-Hop and R & B, Avante Garde, Country, Bluegrass, Flamenco, and just about everything else.
I just don't care for Bubblegum Pop (i.e- Britney, NSync, and Backstreet Boys) or Gangsta Rap. :|
 
80's rock(Boston, Genesis, Rush, The Police, etc)
Some classical music
Some Blues and Jazz
Alternative(Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and Audioslave)
some rap
Classic rock(Led Zepplin, Foghat, Golden Earing, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Lynard Skynard, etc)
Some punk rock/hardcore
 
- prog rock (marillion, genesis, spock's board, elp, yes, floyd.......)
- americana (the jayhawks, calexico, dakota suite, gomez, scud moutain boys)
- country (johnny cash, willie nelson, kris kristofferson...)
- crooners (sinatra, dean martin, julie london....)
- and many more

and, of course all metal of 80's to now.....
