I went there 3 years ago after went to San Francisco. I find LA too big and impersonal. you can't do anything without a car. So pollution is inevitable.
In SF you can walk in the town everywhere and no need of shit car.

I live in a suburb- San Gabriel.
It's really nice here- theres greenery everywhere. And here-you can walk everywhere.
