They're allowed to hold meetings because it falls under free speech. :| They're just not allowed to act on their beliefs.


A few years ago, one of my friends was attacked by a bunch of skinheads. That was here in Philly! :shock:

There was A LOT of skinheads where I used to live, and they would always fight with anti-racist groups, but fortunately we got rid of them :fist:
When I was a kid (about 15 years old) I was in a sort of group like that, but I never got in any trouble :D

Yup. There are a lot of skinheads in Scandinavia, but fortunately they usually stay in Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
There are more 'regular' racist people in Norway though :| I've experienced my share of it :|

Yeah :| They're not really keen on having many "coloured" people in the country :roll: 3 of the biggest political parties have immigration control on the top of their agenda :|

I got in a lot of fights when I was in school, but it wasn't anything major. Just stupid kids stuff. It's the weird looks and the little comments that affected me the most. I used to work as a part-time cashier in a supermarket, and I always got some remarks from the customers. Some were afraid of touching me, as if I carried some disease :x
But despite that, there are some very cool people there as well :)

They think "we" will take over the country :roll:
90% of the immigrants in Norway want to go back to their home-country, but for various reasons that are out of their hands, they can't. So since they are stuck in Norway, people think they want to take over the place. It's just stupid :|
They always forget that Norway was built by foreigners (Icelanders, Swedes, Danes, Germans etc.) :roll:

Don't worry about it babe :) The older I get the less I care about stuff like that. And now that I'm here in England, I've never experienced any racism :banana:
I just wish my mums stuff would get sorted out so she could move as well. She's really unhappy there :(
