It just sounds weird. Sausages are usually salty, and syrup is very sweet. But I guess it might work...I've eaten stranger things than that
I always used to love to eat sausage plain or Bar-B-Qued. But one day at a restaurant I spilled some syrup on the sausages- I was so hungry I ate it anyway. It was so damn good. Now I have to eat them like that.
