Alex Zanardi claims he should have demonstrated a Williams Formula 1
car at last weekend’s United States Grand Prix, but remarkably he “forgot”
to phone the team to make the necessary arrangements.

The former Champ Car champion and F1 driver lost both legs in an
accident in 2001, but has since stunned the motorsport world by returning
to racing using his prosthetic limbs.

:shock: Lucky he did forget......... using those dodgy tyres :|

“I was supposed to be calling the Williams team to finalise the details, but
I didn't, I forgot.

“I promise that when I’m back from Mexico (where he is racing next
weekend), I will dedicate myself to it more intensively.”

Zanardi is now trying to arrange a test at the Italian Grand Prix instead.
