It's a holiday weekend so the customers are weirder than usual

I got in an argument with a customer who was mad that the price tags don't include tax. It is a US thing that taxes don't get added on until checkout. I know it's a stupid system but what can I do about it? She demanded to know the law. Lady this is not my store and I'm not a lawyer either

I can hear a LOT of motorcycle engines revving not that far away. Is there some kind of biker gathering?

I would like a relaxing night but it's going to be one task after another

It amazes me how much people act like they've never been in a store before

Today Dad told me they're thinking of moving to a retirement community and I'm feeling sad about it

Went grocery shopping yesterday and managed to not get anything that would make a full meal

I was able to improvise a small salad and spaghetti with meat sauce

I get these frozen chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce sometimes but realized it's like 200% of the recommended amount of sodium for the day. I looked up a recipe for buffalo sauce and realized I could make it with a fraction of the sodium

Need to hunt down Tabasco and worcestershire

I got a robocall at work today so I promptly hung up. Then it proceeded to call back another 4 times. I ignored it and it eventually stopped but that was fucked up
