now thinking

There were a lot more people at the preview party than I expected. I didn't realize it was open to the general public

The trees looked good though the place was dim and the tree lights sometimes overpowered the decorations

The transit gods did not smile upon me tonight. There were major signal problems with both trains and it took nearly 2 hours to get home. It's also freezing out :(

I downloaded the ticketmaster app for tomorrow's show. The reviews for that app are so bad. What are they doing with all that money we give them?

It was a good concert :)

Though I risked life and limb to get there because there was a three block stretch where the sidewalks were covered in thick ice o_O

I feel bad for the lady who missed Weedeater.

Sometime after they left the stage, she walked up to me and asked if they had played yet. Said her phone had died and she couldn't get here until now. That's one of the really shitty parts of digital tickets :(

The car left maybe 20 minutes ago. I really have to wonder about this person. Like, why don't you go home? Why do you want to sit there for hours and waste gas?

I got myself a christmas gift, a tshirt I've been looking at for years and really wanted. It's by an Australian artist and I decided that I will get it anyway despite the stupid fucking tariffs. Her designs are limited edition and I already missed out on another shirt that I liked a lot. There were only 7 left when she put them on sale. I hope that I end up paying only a very low and reasonable fee. I've heard of people getting slapped with crazy high bills because no one cares to charge the right amount and no one oversees this shit.

It's currently about 5 miles away so I guess we will find out soon.

I think I'm going to go with a shortbread recipe I found on my trusty baking site. I'm going to make some of the variations so that they end up with some different flavors and they'll look nice together in the box
