It was a good wedding

There were 2 Indian weddings taking place at the same time. Huuuuuuuge buffet that looked really good, everyone wearing gorgeous clothing, and the party was still going after we had cleared out of our room

It was nice to have air conditioning for a couple days. It's humid as hell and indoors is hotter than outdoors

I'm so happy that I've seen more lightning bugs this year. One just went past my window. Last night I saw one in the middle of the city!

On the way to work I bought an extra water, feeling like I would need it today. I ended up giving it to the guitar kid because the temperature was in the 90s. It was only 17 cents so not a big expenditure.

I actually spent less this week than usual. I think I will get one of those nice Nordic Ware sheet pans.

Aluminum pans last forever and they clean up really easily

Years ago, my old roommate had wanted to get rid of her aluminum pans. I scrubbed them with salt and they looked brand new again

My job is starting summer hours and that means longer days, and me being there later. I am annoyed by that

The longer day sucked. Some idiot tourists got a bird stuck in the store and I couldn't get her out

When I left she was up in the front windows, at the very top. There's a pipe that runs just under the ceiling

Also I'm very hungry. At least I got things that are quick to make

I'm off for the next two days

Some highly suspicious people claiming to be from the electric company knocked on my door today. It seemed like a scam so I didn't tell them anything. They were super persistent about coming back so I just sent a message to the company to make sure.

I forgot about asking for an id until after they had gone

Feeling bad about missing Rockin's birthday

I'm not a big fan of work's summer hours

I need to get better at making croutons

Found sausages without garlic and onion

Got a bunch of things done today, including laundry. Then I was hit with a wave of sadness. I miss my kitty
