These petition DO change things. Just because the organizers don't tell YOU personally about it, doesn't mean things aren't being changed.

How am I being stupid? Because this petition is a pile of crap? What is making these animals extinct? Poachers? Disease? Are they killing each other? Well, if it's poachers, I doubt they'll be like "Uh oh, an online petition, we'd better stop!". We gotta go out and stop them, not sign some ghey petition.Cyrus said:

Are the tigers killing each other? If so, there's nothing we can do about that. It's called "survival of the fittest", ask Charles Darwin about it.

:| wow. I'm surprised at how little you know about these things. By signing the petition it puts more pressure on governing bodies to take action. Extinction is a natural thing, it always has been. But thanks to the human race we are causing the extinction of thousands of animals every year. It throws off everything, from natural habitats (we extinct plantlife too) to animals and the cycle of life, to our OWN habitat. By signing this petition law makers DO infact take action against the reasons for these animals extinction. Everything from stopping diseases that threaten them (mostly our fault) to stopping poachers. Sure poachers will not say "Hey it's illegal- let's stop" it's already illegal what they do. But this petition will enact more methods of stopping them. For instance-Poacher Police (in Africa poacher police arrest the poachers and fine them, and lock them away. You can get a life sentence for poaching African Savanah Elephants). If you have any further questions ask me-I am very well learned on this. Biologists usually are. And I have family that's very actively involved in these matter too.
