I took my exams in 1988...before I was 16

Think we took them in april and I was 16 in july
 
Had to go and check that i'm not going senile in my old age!!....this is what I found..........

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR GCSE COURSES

From 1988 the GCSE examination has replaced " O- Level ". Students start GCSE's at age of 14, for two years (year 10 &11). They will be offered different numbers of subjects by their school / college according to their ability, performance and results in previous years. Maths, English (Literature and Language) and Science (Science 1 &2 which are physics, Chemistry and Biology) are compulsory.




I've not gone senile yet :D :banana: :banana:

I heard they wanted to try them out on the stupid ones from the west
first just to make sure they weren't too easy :P

You must have chaged that coz when you edit ur own post it says at
the bottom "last edited by rockin_plumber blahblahblah" and I dont
see that :P
