as i said fifa ranking are completley unrealistic
according to what the teams showed on wc does brazil deserve to be no 1 and england no5?

its even worse from 20th place
guinea, romania, egypt, turkey & columbia nations that didn't even qualify for wc infront of ecuador who passed to 2nd round

About final match
France had better play in second half, and in extra time, and they deserved to score, but that's ok.
About zidane
I think taht what he've done is great, coz he showed that he don' t wanna be just stupid football player who's living for that piece of gold. He already have every trophy in his colection, so why he should listen jerks as one italian gypsy. Maybe that what he done wasn't fair enough for his team, but he showed us that even his whole life is about football, he's ready to show that he is person at first place, and that nobody can throw insults on him. That's IMO great, coz you won't see this often in this time, when everybody lies, and everyone tries to be the best in their job, no matter how. He gave us example that you have to have respect to yourself, and that there is no job much important to you, then yourself.
He is man, and he's proud on that, so everybody should be.
Remember: I know what I want, I say what I want and no-one can take it away.
He's real journeyman
I hope that you understand what I want to say, sorry but for me is difficult to express some my opinions on english

thats all fine however insults are the part of the game wether somebody likes it or not
its used to distract your opponent for a moment just enough to win a challenge against him and if you're lucky your opponent will lose his head and do something rash. its a normal everyday thing everybody uses not just italians french english croats germans africans brazilians everybody uses them. and not only in football in every possible sport.

so whatever materazzi said did he mean it? of course not
he was just trying to get zidane mad. after playing football for so long zinedine should have known that and ignored it
but no. he took it to his heart and reacted to it eventhough somewhere deep inside he knew materazzi's motives.
cause of that he let his whole team down. maybe he has won everything but did it ever occur to you and him that there were guys in his team that haven't won everything that gave their best during the whole tournament and didn't deserve to be stood up by their captain and their best player?
what he did wasn't fair towards them.
