this is what happened
on my collage i have this class which is called basics of digital computers
and we can pass it in two ways:
1) work hard all year, have two tests which we gotta solve and get rid of whole class or only written part of the exam(meaning only oral left to do)
or
2) dont give a shit whole year, do just enough to ensure you will get the right to take the exam and then learn for a couple of days, take both written and oral part and pass if you did well
i decided to go for the first way. believe it or not i studied really hard for it
and then came the secound exam
i needed 17 out of 20 points to get rid of entire exam or 6 points to get rid of written part. however i needed 10 points to collect minimum requirement for this test
so we wrote it on thursday at 8 PM. we got 2 long assignments and one hour to complete them
and its nothing more than programming
so i solved them all however since they were long i was in a rush and made a couple of mistakes
the guy that corrected my exam is a real dickhead however. his way of correcting it was:
oh you missed one letter here one point less
oh you wrote add r1, r1,0 insted of add r1,0,r1 one point less
oh you decided to solve this problem in a way we didnt solve it. i wont even look if its correct (and it was) six points less
anyways you got it......
and while rest of the students passed cause and got themselves rid of something cause they had professors that understood it was a lot of work in a short time so they were lenient,
me and us few unlucky that had that asshole correcting our tests - moslty failed and we gotta take the entire written/oral part :x :x :x :x :x :x
