Free prescriptions for Wales
Prescriptions are now free in Wales, while the rest of the country faces a
20p rise for medication.

In the wake of the Welsh decision there were calls for charges to be
scrapped across the NHS.

The Department of Health, which said the health service will get about
£430 million from prescriptions this year, has no plans to stop charges.

The arrival of free prescriptions is a welcome boost to Wales's First
Minister Rhodri Morgan ahead of Assembly elections in May.

But after a bit of Googling it aint :| .........

:x :x :x :x :x It should be all UK free or all UK Pay
:x :x :x :x :x Nearly £7 per item on prescrption
:x :x :x :x :x Add to that the time off work UNPAID


:x :x :x :x :x AND we have to pay to get into wales over that fukin bridge
:x :x :x :x :x It should be the other fukin way round
:x :x :x :x :x It wouldnt surprise me if they get over it free coz they are Welsh
 
Its because they need it :roll:

Wales is probably 2nd to Scotland for people who have Rabies/are on smack :P

Another fuck-up at the new Wembley Stadium :|

Well I never :roll:

Red-faced officials at the £800million venue have promised the new seats
will in place before Manchester United meet Chelsea in the FA Cup final a
week on Saturday.

It is the second time Wembley has had a problem with fading seats. Last
July 5,000 had to be replaced.

This time 17,000 luxury seats, including those to be occupied by United
manager Sir Alex Ferguson in the dug-out, have to be changed.

The Football Association, which owns Wembley, said builder Multiplex
would have to foot the bill for new seats.

Contractors said the problem related to red dye used by the seat makers.

WESSEX heroes AFC Totton want to see Wembley awash with blue and
white - and even shocking pink - replica shirts on FA Vase final day.

They will be wearing blue against Truro City on May 13, but will warm up
in the bright pink that served them so well in their memorable semi-final,
second leg triumph at Billingham, where Stuart Ritchie's heroes won a
