MEGADETH's new album, United Abominations has debuted at number 23 on the UK’s top album chart, making it Megadeth’s most chart successful album in the UK since 1994’s Youthanasia, which peaked at number 6. This beats Megadeth’s last album, The System Has Failed, which debuted at number 60.

In other news, Megadeth have broke into Amazon.ca’s top 10 bestsellers. The album peaked at number 5 on the bestsellers list, and now currently sits at number 8. See the top sellers here.

As previously reported, United Abominations is on track to selling 60,000 in America this week, which will potentially land it in the Top 10 on the Billboard Albums Chart, maybe even the Top 5, according to Hits Daily Double. This is an improvement on 2004’s The System Has Failed which sold 46,000 in its first week, and debuted at number 18 on the Billboard Chart.

LOL LOL i just read an interview of Nick Holmes, the PARADISE LOST's singer, which is telling their last tour in France with Orphaned Land and Society 1.

He's telling about Society1 ==> LOL LOL

"They travelled in the worst van I never saw, a trick dilapidated like the "scooby doo" one, which had not been repaired since the Seventies. There were no toilets inside, then they pissed in bowls! There was some everywhere! Their berths were infested by chips, so much that their drummer was dirtily made prick with the eye and had to go to the hospital. Without counting that their bass player Dirt, a colossus which must weigh 130 kilos, collapsed with his berth on his drummer, which slept under. Blow, they had to finish the tour without beds (laughs)" LOL LOL

the drummer was really unlucky LOL LOL
