Thread or forum for Euro 2004

I've PMed both of them. Hopefully they did not go to sleep very late. Championship starts in a few hours.

Portugal V Greece at 1700
Spain V Russia at 1945

(Portugese Local Time)

I'm tipping Portugal and Spain

Portugese is the same as GMT right? Or is there daylight savings to consider?

Yeah. Goalkeeper's mistake. We were so close to the extra time and penalties.

Your club?

Not one you'll know... probably.

I only support one team, an English 2nd Division team, Tranmere Rovers

Changed my Avatar to reflect it :D

Of course I know. Playing Championship Manager and other football manager games helped a lot. :D

They underperform in league games, yet do really well in cups.

There one of the original teams of football, much older than most other teams worldwide.

Been playing since 1886

Yep that'd be right, he's now with Stoke City

We had more success in 70's and 80's when players were not allowed to play for foreign teams until they were 27-28. And much less money was involved abck then. Now with 3-4 mil. euros we must be happy if we go to the 2nd round of UEFA cup.
