The Formula One Thread

re: the conspiracy theories one good article:

However you look at it the "bias" allegations, as seen from the
perspective of either side, is virtually even. Let us analyse the
season objectively.

Pro Renault
1)- FIA ban flexible wings

Pro Ferrari
1)- FIA ban mass dampers
where each team had a significant advantage due to teh technology
and both teams lost performances after the relevant ban. Score 1-1.

Pro Renault
2)- MS penalty at monaco (Renault run crying to the stewards demanding
justice)

Pro Ferrari
2)- FA penalty at Monza (Ferrari run crying to teh stewards demanding
justice)
Both drivers were convinced they were blameless. MS suffered more
because he was judged to have had "intent" Score 2-2.

Pro Renault
3)- MS penalty for red flag incident

Pro Ferrari
3)- FA penalties for yellow flag/RD incidents
If anyone wants a conspiracy theory isnt it incredible how all the
different incidents ended up to cancelling each other? Score 3-3.

Pro Renault
4)- FA gets away with chicane cutting at Monza

Pro Ferrari
4)- MS gets away with chicane cutting at hungary

Current Score 4-4.

It is clear given the high levels of similarity between the two
"sides", to see how diverse the reactions of certain posters are
depending on whose side the penalty falls. When I see, for example,
people declaring with absolute certainty that the mass dampers
incident hindered Renault while forgetting how the flexi-wings
hindered ferrari, I can only wonder in disbelief.

I await Briatorre complaining about something now :|

David Coulthard laid the blame for missing out on points in
the Chinese Grand Prix squarely at the door of Ferrari driver Felipe Massa,
who clattered into the Red Bull man at the hairpin on lap 47.

More and more I hate this bloke :|
When I first saw the incident it looked like it was his DC's fault.
Now Ive seen it again.... Massa was alongside but they both locked up.
Both to blame :|
