Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Scott Speed has been demoted to 11th position in the Australian Grand Prix results, losing his and the team’s first points as a consequence.
The American driver, who finished eighth in the race, was judged to have passed Red Bull stable-mate David Coulthard under yellows following Tonio Liuzzi’s crash.
To add insult to injury, Speed was then fined $US5000 for allegedly swearing at Coulthard during the stewards inquiry.
