you know why is wind created? its created by the unequalities of airpressure. upstairs, the gravity is weaker the temperature isn't that same as downstairs so airpressure isn't same. that causes wind inside the house(very mild one probably) and about the sound being so lond it depends whats in its way. some elements enhance the sound voule thus making them seem louder than they really are, and others make them softer than they really are

we used to have the same thing like a fragerance roaming through the house but there are a few flowers hidden at the top of the arden which r the same

No, I live in the middle of town. My garden is all lawn, except for one small flower bed, which only has plants in the summer, and my hanging baskets, also only there in summer......... The smell can happen at anytime of year....maybe flowery perfume is a bad discription...it's a very feminine perfume though

A few points....

The top floor of my house has slates down the walls...they rattle in the slightest breeze..whatever direction the wind is going.

We used a baby monitor until Jake was 7 because of his illness.

On the monitor we could hear the slates rattling..again even in the slightest breeze. We could also hear Jake if he just turned over in bed.

How do you explain hearing this bang sometimes once, sometimes 3 times or more....no rattling of slates...and even after the bangs Jake would not move a muscle.

We have tried kicking the door..slamming it..to try and make it sound as loud....WE CAN'T DO IT
