Maiden's Bitch said:my mum has spent time in and out of a psyciatric hospital... i am now her carer so not much time for the net....
Had results few days ago from my mum's tests and brain scan and she has been diagnosed with dementia, the specialist said it's a rare kind of dementia, that will probably turn into alziemers later on in her life, they are putting her on medication obviously it won't stop the dementia but it will put it on hold for a while.
The specialist said if it does turn to alziemas and probably will it could get to a stage where she won't recognise family members!
