it was possible always

I don't think so,
(I don't know tell this on english):
nekada je životnii vijek bio puno kraæi pa su ljudi morali djecu imati sa 19-20 godina a sa 30-ak bi veæ umirali, jer se napretkom ljudi i granica puberteta pomakla, cure postaju žene sa 17 godina (ili èak i ranije),
kužiš?

i hope you dont mind if i answer to you in english
i know all of that but to think that back in old times there werent such extreme age differences between two brothers would be illogical
of course they were
youre saying that back in old times ppl would die with 30
yes back in old rome and egypt
but medicine came a long way from those times
you know the average life span didnt suddenly turn from 30 to 70
it happened gradually
so it would be logical to assume that those extreme cases of age difference between two sibillings would also grow progressivley

but in the last 300 years I'm sure that average life span goes faster then ever before

you're mistaken, dear sir. Egypt and Rome (with the ancient Greek) were the most developed civilisations in their time (they knew medicine...how else would, for example, mummies been here so long?). it is not stupid to assume that they had 2 times longer lifespan than you said...one more reason: in their time there weren't so many diseases like we have today.
i would say that the average lifespan of 30 years had the neandrethal man.

can't argue with that 8)
