The first episode of the 3rd season started in a powerful way. We see the Others enjoying their civilized life when all of a sudden they hear that noise that crashed the airplane. They show the plane break in half and camera pulls back to show where the Other camps were in relation to where the LOST people crashed.
When we left off last season, Sawyer, Kate and Jack were prisoners of the Others. This season we get to see what happens to them but we don’t know why.
Sawyer got thrown in a cage, and of course there’s a huge button he shouldn’t touch but he does.
Kate was made to take a shower and put on a new, pretty dress. She was escorted to a beach where Henry Gale was having an elegant breakfast. She’s made to put on a handcuff. Henry warns her that it will be tough for them in the next two weeks.
And he wasn’t kidding. Kate’s arms were bleeding around her the handcuff and she was nearly in tears. They put her in a cage next to Sawyers.
The most intense was Jack’s captivity. He was trying to kick open the glass window but was having trouble. He kept having flashbacks to that time he was going through a divorce with his former wife.
A mysterious woman shows up – Juliet – and tries to make friends with Jack. She insists she brings him food and makes him promise he won’t escape. She tricks him into telling her his innermost thoughts and yearnings.
