I am not sure whether Iron Maiden will be releasing its new album or not this year. Perhaps after the end of the '08 Somewhere Back on Tour, I think.

I honestly, sincerly, think that they will put out 3 more before it's all over.
1 in '09
1 in '12
and one more after the "official" retirement.
yes, that is my personal hope and wish and my personal opinion.
However, the only thing that kinda dampens that is that Mr. Steve Harris has said that he has always thought that Maiden would do 15 albums.
(let's hope that he is not a prophet!!!)
If broken-down Ozzy can still do it well, these awesome guys absolutely can!!!!
