Can someone give me an example of an adress of someone in England??
Postal code and all .. I just need to see the structure of how its set up, and ultimately the way you guys do your postal codes.

A postcode is made up of a combination of letters and numbers in one of
the following ways:

A1 2BC
D34 5EF
GH6 7IJ
KL8M 9NO

The same code is usually used for a small group of addresses so is not
unique to every address but helps to pin-point exactly where the item of
mail needs to go to.

EC1V 9HQ

The first one or two letters is the postcode area and it identifies the main
Royal Mail sorting office which will process the mail. In this case EC would
go to the Mount Pleasant sorting office in London.

The second part is usually just one or two numbers but for some parts of
London it can be a number and a letter. This is the postcode district and
tells the sorting office which delivery office the mail should go to.

The third part is the sector and is usually just one number. This tells the
delivery office which local area or neighbourhood the mail should go to.

The final part of the postcode is the unit code which is always two letters.
This identifies a group of up to 80 addresses and tells the delivery office
which postal route (or walk) will deliver the item.

another example

Mr E Clapton
46 Kensington Court
London
WE8 5DT

I wont post my address here coz I dont want stalkers :p

Here is a ficticious name and address example for you.

Mr. A.N. Other <<< Name of Recipient
12 Made up street <<< Street name & Property number
Anytown <<< City/Town/Village
Devon <<< County
EX12 3AT <<< Postal code
England <<< Country

The address usually starts with the intended recipients name followed by their property number and the street they are on.
Then the City, Town, or Village name, followed by the County name.
Followed by the postal code. The first 2 letters of the Postal code relates to what nearest major town / city the address is located (in this case EX = Exeter,......... TQ would be Torquay, DE is Derby, LE is Leicester, etc. ). The number after the first 2 letters indicates how far from the central hub of that town/city the address is located, (IE. > EX1 is Exeter city center, but EX12 would be out of town in one of the outer suburbs or neighbouring villages.)

Followed by the Country,( only needed if mail is coming from/going to another country)

Hope this helps a little
