yeah, i'm a Norman you know. When vikings invade Old France, (la Gaule), they used to loot all the church coz there were a lot of famous objects in these. And Normandy is the part of Gaule where there was the most church. Charlemagne negociate with them and if they stop to invade the Gaule and thieving church (they became catholics), they could install their family in Normandy. He just let them Britanny for their thieving pleasure. So they stayed in Normandy and these vikings became some Normans......... After that, they attack England. Sorry :err:

i know all that frenchy , you didn't have to give me the history lesson because i'm planning to study history...

i know all about it so don't worry...i didn't say that you're not maybe a viking but who knows mate...you cannot be sure in anything because too many time has passed since vikings invaded north-west france

but IMO normans are not true vikings , because they have mixed with local popularity and they lost alot of viking stuff in their lives...
