No.. Canadians are Much Nicer :) lol, well when i've been abroad I've never been mistaken for an american ( mind you, I've only been to the United States and haven't even been to all of the provinces in my own country, lol) I dont travel much :\ so I dont know, but I wouldent think so..

Is there a big difference between the northen U.S accent and the canadian one? :? (I'm pretty ignorant on North america). I'm not so deaf that I can't tell between the southern U.S and the Canadian on! :D

well, uhh i dunno what people from the nothern united states sound like :? (once again because im retarted) but , depending on what province you're from people can have very different accents. For example on almost every show making fun of canadians you'll hear a character over using the term "eh" well, nobody from Nefwfoundland says that -- EVER. And I know a guy from Nova Scotia that never asys it either but I also know a guy from Nova Scotia whos every second word is "eh" , wow I got a bit off topic there, lol.

Yeah, they stereotype the british accent load as well, when in truth, about 0.01% of people speak like that! Also, when they stereotype a "rough" working class accent they always use a cockney one, most chavs and dickheads e.t.c tend to have very strong reigonal accents which sound nowhere like the cockney one (i'm not saying people with reigonal accents are like the above :err: ) e.g scouser, Geordie, or yorkshire.
Since your not british... :D

Scouse=Liverpool

Geordie=Newcastle

Yorkshire=Yorkshire
