And staying in France

Le Havre Athletic Club Football Association or Havre Athletic Club, is a
French football club based in Le Havre, founded in 1872 making it the
oldest soccer and rugby club registered in France. Football began being
played on a regular basis in 1894, so technically FC Mulhouse could be
considered the first French football team being established in 1893
(however, they were a German team at the time). Le Havre currently play
in Ligue 2 of the French league and their home stadium is Stade Jules
Deschaseaux.

With the leagues out of the way I will make way for news on teams that won cups.
Who couldn't forget that Spanish side Sevilla bagged three titles this year alone? It won the U.E.F.A. Cup for the 2nd time in a row on Wednesday, 16 May, by beating Espanyol 3-1 on penalties as both were held to a 2-2 draw in the Final held in Glasgow, Scotland. Second, it won the Copa del Rey for the 4th time after beating Getafe 1-0 in the Final in Madrid on Saturday, 23 June and finally on Sunday, 19 August, Sevilla won the Spanish Super Cup after beating league champs Real Madrid 1-0 (home) and 3-5 (away).

The circumstances don't matter, we were good enough to win it in 1939. The fact nobody bothered to play us for it for 7 years isn't Pompeys fault :P

Another random fact about Pompey is they wont use the number 12 shirt
for a player.
Number 12 is the fans............ :D
and they list the club's supporters, "Pompey Fans", as player number 12
on the squad roster printed in home match programmes. :D

Now let's head to Italy.
This year saw A.C. Milan add three trophies into its silverware collection, including one pre-season tournament.
Firstly, on Wednesday, 23 May, Milan was crowned European champions for the 7th time after beating Liverpool 2-1 in the U.E.F.A. Champions League Final held in Athens, Greece. This match was a repeat from the 2005 Final. Secondly, it won the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy, named for the father of A.C. Milan president and owner Silvio, on Friday, 17 August by beating Juventus 2-0 on home ground and finally Milan won the U.E.F.A. Super Cup by beating U.E.F.A. Cup holders Sevilla 3-1 in Monaco on Friday, 31 August.
