the only reason henry is considered to be a world class striker is cause he's a regular scorer in the leage where teams wouldnt know how to defend themselves even if their life depended on it
well everybody apart from chelsea
english teams are tactically unorganised and whilst that may bring excitement its also a BIG minus when facing tactically sound teams like italians

scores in italy arent low cause they have bed strikers
just the opposite
some of the worlds top strikers are in italy
just about every forward that goes from italian leauge somewhere else becomes one of the top strikers there
that is not the case in other direction

but when you get 10 goals in a game than something is terribly wrong with the defence now isnt it

you have it a bit wrong
they are focused on defence but few italian teams play the classic cattenaccio
they do defend with 8 players when they're in defence but when they go on offence they attack with lets say 6 players
thats total football
something that few teams play in england
in premiership midfield is lets say focused on creating chances for the strikers and they go for the goal not very often
full backs also are mostly based on the defence whilst in italy full backs are involved in the attack and they work with wingers on creating creating chances. and their central midfielders also try to go for the goal very often
