contract if Newcastle didnt qualify for Europe....

At any point in any interview has he stated I WILL NOT BE LEAVING NEWCASTLE :?
Owen doesn't really owe Newcastle much. ALL his wages have been
covered in insurance, so they haven't had to pay him a penny really when
he was injured.
Maybe they had to buy another striker... but they will get that back if they
sold him 8)

Rafa should buy him.........

Rocky is one of my best mates, if not my best, but its a bit two faced really Frenchy but we all are....I've had it from him non-stop since we bought him. 'He'll be injured again' stuff like that...or when Owen came back vs Reading I think Rocky posted here about how he didn't do much for us...or words to that effect......i think its more the fact on how he left Anfield..& then didn't go back!!...He's a Scouse legend, has ties with them...not with us at all...Owen even said he only would come to us on loan, in the beginning, cos he wanted Liverpool Return.....He will go... Isaid he would...Man Yoo or Liverpool...good luck to him.....just wasted two years of his career & our time.......
Oh...as i said..we're all two faced...Hated Shearer when he scored against us for Blackburn......after that...nuff said.

First of all...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz boring!!!!!
Secondly.....Im sure Owens representatives INSISTED that a clause was put in & Shepherd had to agree to get the signing...& I'm sure with a fully fit Owen we may of made a Uefa Cup Spot..but one man doesn't make a team....the Manager & other players have to take the can for that!!
Thirdly....The Insurance Paid HALF his wages not all..so the club paid the other half...hence why Shepherd threatened to pull Owen out of international duty if something wasn't sorted...( which i don't agree with).
So with paying half his wages & Medical & Rehabilitation costs & our Fanatical support wanting to see a world class striker play for them I would think a bit of loyalty wouldn't go a miss. During his recovery Owen HAS STATED HE WANTS TO PAY THE CLUB & OUR SUPPORTERS BACK FOR SUPPORTING HIM.......only its not really noticed early in the season when hes not playing...only when papers need to be sold at end of the season when he's playing again......Hopefully he will come out & say it but if he wants to leave....well what can we the fans do about it...NOWT.....just carry on, rebuild the side & move on.

But Owen could have INSISTED on it not being there.......
He is the one signing the paper and is only being advised by his
representitives :|

When Stevie G had all that contract rubbish after Istanbul, waitng for a
new offer, thinkin he might be going to Chav$ki......

He finally signed and his new contract stated should Liverpool suddenly hit
a big slump he could go for a nominal fee.......

He insisted this bit was taken out as he wanted to be at Livepool for the
rest of his career....... :fist:

We all know they aint worth the paper they are writen on though :err:
But rumour has it he is about to sign a new 6 year deal :fist:

But thats why Agents are Scum......Thet all have the Clauses put in for the 'What if' scenario...Bellamy had it cos he knew if something better came along i.e Liverpool, Champs Lge Etc...then Blackburn had their hands tied, cos they all want to Win Trophys & Play European footy at the highest level if your current team doesn't finish fourth or higher....I'm telling you now that if Barca came in with £25M on Monday for Stevie G that a clause of some sort would be activated...every player has his price no matter what club they play for...hometown or not.
I said Owen will leave & I would be elated if he didn't but he wants the highest level footy...We're Shit so let him leave & Re-build from there
