I wont make excuses..........

But.................

They made the pitch 3 feet narrower down each side..........

AND

The grass must have been 2 inches long...........

Kinda hampered Liverpool....... the ball dont roll and not much space on
the wings :|
They knew woot they were doing :|
 
at the end of the day it all comes down to this
football is a pretty simple game
you have 11 players playing against 11 players
in order to win one group of those 11 players has to put the ball in the net of other group of 11 players more times than they do it.
so what if the field is narrower or the grass is taller. you gotta adapt.
