If I convert a lossless format (.ape, .shn, .flac) to .mp3 (~192kb VBR), will I suffer any more loss than had I converted a .wav file to .mp3? I know that .mp3 is already inferior quality, but that being aside, just wondering if I would incur any GREATER loss if I did this with the 3 lossless formats above (as opposed to doing this with a .wav file). Oh, and I plan to use this method only for personal use, not for sharing.
