There is an unconfirmed report that gerrard spent 2 hours in hospital
today with a jaw or tooth problem. he had painkilling injection to play!

AND

I tell you one thing if we are going to score against chel$ki the least we
can do is get a corner into fukin the box in the 90th minute instead of
another awful and just absolutely stupid offside between Gerrard and
Riise, CROSS THE BALL into the box direct from the corner, Rafa was fuming, no wonder :x :x :x

It was true then............

Liverpool have revealed that skipper Steven Gerrard underwent surgery
to treat a painful mouth abscess on the eve of Liverpool's Champions
League clash at Chelsea.
The skipper awoke with severe toothache and underwent a minor dental
procedure to treat the problem several hours later.

Liverpool FC Head of Press Ian Cotton explained: "Stevie woke with
toothache in the early hours of Wednesday morning and after talking with
Club Doctor Mark Waller was given medication which allowed him to sleep
through to 9am.

"After breakfast Stevie accompanied the Doctor to a local dentist where he
underwent a minor dental procedure which lasted no more than 20
minutes to treat an abscess.

"The player then rejoined his team-mates for lunch at the team hotel."

I didn't think he was 100% :|

maybe he should have relied on somebody to knock couple of his teeth out
its the less expensive way
