Beheadings

Eh... where to start ... you would be surprised how many newspapers during the war wrote about killings of civilians. And how many people was against involment by our troups in Bosnia. Our goverment tried to create something like croatian state over there. I'm the last person that will not criticize my goverment in many ways. They are all puppets.

And involment of UN and NATO in Bosnia .... too mach to talk about. They attcked Serbs only in 99, 8 years after war started. They watched Serbs slaughtering 7,000 people in 2-3 days without reaction. Better to stop ...
On a different note, I think I've noticed something during these types of discussions. While it's true that the U.S. is very unpopular right now, it is also true that people in Europe and South America seem much more critical of their governments than we are of ours. That is probably a good thing for you--it keeps your governments honest (hopefully, but unfortunately not always). But because Europeans and South Americans in particular freely criticize their own governments, they also freely criticize ours. We don't like it, but some criticism is valid and instructive. But it is important for people like me to realize that a lot of people are distrustful of governments in general and are not afraid to criticize the U.S. Anyway, I think we could all learn from eachother, I know I can.

That, my friend, is a very fair comment. I think you hit the spot though, a lot of "us" Europeans are criticising the US. I think in some cases justifiably. And in other cases, we do it perhaps because we're ignorant of the way American society works, and we jump to conclusions

I think the trouble is that we don't always make it clear that when we are critical, we're are criticising the US leadership or government, rather than the American people themselves.

There should be no reason for a war in Canada. It is a good country that by and large is able to stay out of foreign entanglements. Also, God forbid that a day comes when Canada is attacked, the U.S. will fight with you becuase you are a great ally and because the U.S. would never tolerate an invasion of hostile forces on North America.

<3 xo
That actually made me really happy. Thank you for saying that.

You are right. I'm not saying any other goverment is much better then US goverment. They are all similar. For example. France and Russia were against war in Iraq. Why? Not because they were really concerned about people of Iraq. They were exploiting oil fields in Iraq while Saddam was in the power. There were defending their companies capital.

That's why I don't have respect for any politician. They are just bunch of puppets, controled by big corporations, trying to do as much as possible for them. If we were talking about my goverment I would be the first one here to criticize it.

You will always have twisted people in government .. it's inevitable. If we only had a true democracy things would be nice. I used to think about starting my own little place and it was "The Perfect World". It was kind of crazy .. but it would be so nice because in this world there was no such thing as money .. and people weren't greedy. We could eliminate money right now but there are really greedy people who would obtain things that weren't necessary.

I think that we should eliminate money though and go back to the bartaring system.

I guess I'm just one of those free loving people who just wants to see everybody just be able to chill out and not have to worry about dying .. or not having enough food to eat. I think of it kind of simply I guess.
