WTF??? Well since it had a SERIOUS drop I would say mp3 but I've never seen anything like that before. And, of course, I am not the resident know it all on this subject either LOL.

Is that your transfer? Do you have master on MD? I would say transfer error or recording/mic problems.
 
yeap my master, dio last saturday.

i also converted to common mp3/128 vrb and the graph was the same as mp3 graphs, cut at 14 khz i guess.
 
bobo, i guess you didnt get me. i used cool edit, but instead of saving in wav, i saved in mp3-pro format.

but the point is i already saw this pattern of graph and people saying "no its bad mastered, bad converted file, but not mp3".... well, heres a new type of graph we're now able to identify.
 
I thought mp3pro is a program you used for the transfer. So that hole at 10-12 kHz is mp3pro format?
