Thinking about going to the specialty spice store before work tomorrow. I looked up how to grind chiles but it seems like a real pain in the ass. The dried ones I found don't seem to be dry enough. They're bendy instead of crumbly. Apparently if they're not dry enough it turns them into a paste instead of a powder. Then I'd have to get a grinder for them. I'd prefer a manual grinder instead of electric but the latter is much easier to find.
