Current to do list for the site:
Entering the setlist, date, lineup & name for a boot, confirming it is genuine and not wrongly dated or wrong tracks, obtaining the cover art and making thumbnail versions. (repeat for over 1719 concerts)
Building a Bootleg DB with proper interfaces to find things, and a search function and all the rest. The idea of a "Bootleg" versus a "Performance" needs to be sorted out, because there are multiple bootlegs of the same gigs, and this will cause problems. Something like displaying information for a performance then saying "Tracks from this gig appeared on:" and listing all the relevant bootlegs would probably work. Requires further thought.
Adding some way to measure sound quality of a bootleg without making it just based on 1 persons opinion or a list of opinions. (Could be done by allowing users to rate and add comments to bootlegs).
Discography section with background, statistics, single releases and other stuff about every album release.
Band section with bio's on all of the members past and present in a lot of detail, using all the info I can find.
A system that allows Traders to register and include a lot of details about themselves (far more than forum profile, since its more important to know about traders when trading).
Add support for traders to give each other points to signify good or bad traders. (need some way to show bad traders without them having been registered.. perhaps a small interface that allows people to check if a specific name or surname has been associated with bad trading).
Link the traders list and Bootleg DB together to allow traders to make their list of bootlegs with things like "Add this bootleg to my list" on each entry in the Bootleg DB when someone is logged in as a trader.
Build a marketplace function that allows people to list items they want to sell, and set sales mode of "auction" or "fixed price". Allow registered users with the rankings and extended information (address) to submit purchase requests (the site doesnt handle the money, it just connects people who want to buy and people who want to sell).
Add functions to the collectables part of the site with links like "I have one to sell" or "I am interested in buying this" so that people can monitor the marketplace and recieve e-mail updates when someone lists the product they want, or in the case of the "I have one to sell option" they can be taken straight to a detailed listing which includes all of the information stored on the site about that collectable.
Integrate ALL of the user accounts so that there is only one type, all BB users will be carried over to the advanced type where they can provide the extra information and bio, etc if they want. The rankings will also be carried over so that all users will have a ranking. At this point phpBB will probably need to be so heavily hacked that the site will move to its own forum solution instead to integrate properly.
Image gallery to allow people to upload created works, tour photos they've taken and pictures of them with the band. (uses the user system from earlier). Would allow people to add comments to images, perhaps rate them and stuff.
The site will probably get an entire redesign to make it variable width (no blank borders) and with a light background and easier-on-the eye colours.
