Had to vote for Dave - he's been consistent for years! Janick contributed a different style in the 1990's but when Adrian returned so did Maiden's class - well that's my opinion anyway. Oh, and I DO still think Janick is impotant to the band both for his playing And his showmanship.

Maiden were at their best with him, and at their worst without.

Close call between Dave & Adrian, we must remember that the two grew up together, and I think they also played in Urchin together? I know Adrian played in Urchin, didnnt Dave briefly as well?

I have gone for Dave, as he is a legato guitarist, and some of his riffs are outstanding.

But then I am being biased towards certain songs

This is another tricky one, i prefer Dave's playing and sound, but its all objective reeally. I also love Adrian and Janicks styles and playing for totally different rasons.

Adrian is so precises and definite about his styel, if you want to hear the band live and have the guitar sound exactly like the record then Adrian's your man. But for me that can also be a bit boring, that's why i love Janick, its different its disorganised and i like the change it brings to the sound of the band live
