EXTREME METAL(death,black and simmilar shit)

any fans of it here?
i only like bathory. never could get into death to be honest it sounds like a pile of bad music spiced with vocal that sounds like he has a sore throath. immortal for example is one of the best bands in its genre(at least thats what i heard) but i never could understand how can someone enjoy that shit. anyone care to enlight me on this and maybe even suggest a few bands to try?
 
Nice to see the narrow-mindedness never ends. It doesn't cease to amaze me how judegemental people are over things they have not fully given a chance.

If the growling is such a turn-off you could try Celtic Frost, Agalloch, and quite possibly the most amazing "extreme" Metal band- Candlemass. None of these bands fit into just one category, and none have the deep growling. Candlemass has one of my favorite singers of all time and are just amazing.

no they split 5 or 6 years ago :( their music were too much ambitious and not very commercial :withstupid: like voivod :cry:

That's sad when good original bands split. Have you ever heard of a band called The Crown? I really like them, although they decided to disband in March :cry:
