I just wanted to tell ya 'bout a band called Machine Men.
It's a Finnish heavy metal band influenced by bands such as Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne and Queensryche, they have released their first album last year and I 'bought it then 'couse they where calledas a new Iron Maiden (if that doesn't make you want listen the record then what will) but first I thought it was pure hype and they couldn't be so good 'couse their just young kids but they are amazing...
If you want, visit their web-site at www.machinemen.net and check their mp3 samples and than think if you wanna buy their album: Scars & Wounds

Review from Morrigan's pit

Morrigan's Pit 5 / 5

It's actually pretty amazing how many quality metal bands can emerge from the land of the thousand lakes. The latest one to be added to the league of these excellent Finnish bands is Machine Men with their first full length studio release "Scars & Wounds". They play tarditional heavy metal with strong influences from Iron Maiden and "The Chemical Wedding" era Bruce Dickinson. Occasionally one really starts to think that maybe this is an Iron Maiden album from the late 80's that they never for some insane reason released. Incidentally, one of the strongest factors of the band is the singer, Antony. Simply put, he is unbelievable. He sounds almost exactly like Bruce Dickinson. After a few more listening sessions, which this disc seems to require, one starts to recognize that Machine Men do indeed have their own touch to the music although the influences are quite obvious.

The riffs are crispy, the guitar melodies and the choruses are catchy, not in a candy-power metal style, but in a way that you simply must listen to the album again once its over. And that's where the only flaw of the album walks in. It's over way too soon. Lasting only 45 minutes, of which about 8 minutes is just silence, the actual listening experience lasts for only 37 minutes, I'm soon getting tired of pushing the play button over and over again.

With Finnish melodic metal albums the production is way too often taken to the gates of sounding too "plastic". Luckily this is not the case with Machine Men. Eventhough the production is in excellent balance between crunchiness and clarity, it still has a more real-like touch to it.

Maybe it is in Machine Men's case that they lack a little originality, but what is missed there is most certainly being replaced in the kick-ass quality of the songs. Songs like "Silver Dreams" and the title track "Scars & Wounds" are excellent in every way and the rest of the album is just as good. If you're into Iron Maiden, you can't afford to miss the debut of Machine Men. A very impressive debut album.

Just listened to the samples and I'm really impressed, they are really good, not as good as Iron maiden though but still very good :P

Well there isn't a band that is as good or better than Maiden, but I really like these guys... They play some Maiden covers in their gigs and they have a good spirit...
